It depends on the nature of Strahan's contract with Fox Sports. If he's a freelancer, then he's certainly able to pursue other work. Given that he already appears on Live!, there doesn't seem to be an exclusivity clause in his FOX contract, but it's an open question whether he could work on a news/entertainment program (I can't remember which division produces GMA) for another network.
I could see a scenario where he is limited in what he does during football season, but otherwise free.
