If Dave pulled punches because of that (and I don't believe he did), then I've lost an incredible amount of respect for Dave. That Lohan interview was great evidence that Dave could still go balls out when he wants to, and it makes powerful television. On Sun, Apr 13, 2014 at 6:08 AM, JW <[email protected]> wrote: > 2. I think I shared this when it happened, but the show I went to two years ago saw Dave get frustrated with the taping of the Top Ten (with Josh Groban), then discovered that there was a connection betweens James Franco (first guest) and Dianna Agron (second guest). He used that connection to really go after Agron at the start of the interview, to the level of clear discomfort by Agron, which I thought was awesome: Agron was only on there to shill, and I thought I was going to see the old Dave. But it was edited out of the final broadcast, much to my depression (I was really looking forward to watching it again). I'm guessing he did it knowing it wasn't going to make it to air, which validates the second option. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
