I don't disagree, but there's an argument for NBC's mid-80's Thursday of
"Cosby Show", "Family Ties", "Cheers", "Night Court" and "Hill Street
Blues"/"L.A. Law".  Based solely on finish in the yearly ratings, '86 had
NBC's lineup finishing the year #1-#2-#3-#7-#21 (L.A. Law) , while '73 CBS
went #1-#4-#9-#12-#27.

 I think the quality of series is higher in '73, but the viewership should
count for something.

(Personally, I'd rather watch the '73 lineup.)
