As others have noted, I have kind of been expecting something like this, but I do think there may be a little more to it. Oliver sounded very strung out in the run up to the debut of his show, but as he begins to find his stride it does seem like he would have more, rather than less time for The Bugle. Didn't they start taping it on Thursdays recently?
Here is my idle speculation, base on nothing substantial: Has been a bit of a strain in the Oliver-Zaltzman relationship lately? Maybe it is my own projection, or just fatigue on their part, but their chemistry has not sounded quite the same. I know Oliver travelled to London recently and spent some time with Zaltzman - in my imagination that was an attempt to work things out, and maybe it has not been successful? -- -- TV or Not TV ....
