Another approach would be to do something, anything about CBS's own 12:30 show. 
 Six months may be too long for CBS to wait if they want to draw people away 
from Seth.  Or maybe the Late Late Show is still too cheap for CBS to care too 
much.


While I don't think it counters the main conclusion of the ratings numbers 
(Fallon has numbers and coattails), I think it's a little off to be using data 
that's heavy with repeats.

While I don't expect it to happen, it would seem that Fallon's runaway could 
provide coverage for really blowing up the format at CBS, at least at 12:30.
