Unless I missed something, the only way to eliminate the scourge of season-long Interleague play (I'm not counting cross-town rivalry series like the old Mayor's Trophy/Subway Series in NY, which I wouldn't mind once a year, but not for a home & home), MLB would need to add at least one expansion team to restore even numbers to the two leagues...
Which begs the question...where would that expansion team go? What would be a good mid-major market with enough distance from another MLB team that might be a good candidate?
