The funny thing is that I thought that the DN was being tabloid in a good way--by emphasizing the toughness, the hard-nosed coverage, that sort of thing, without the sleaziness of the Post. Not the Times, but still a solid read, especially if you wanted to read about Manhattan instead of the Middle East. Obviously, things have changed. Does Zuckerman still own the paper?
