Even on those very rare occasions when he couldn't announce "Saturday Night Live," they found someone to imitate that authoritative, stentorian and ineffably appealing voice of his. Here's hoping Lorne Michaels and his crew can properly program the Pardo 3000 to handle the opening credits of SNL this fall. Otherwise, it just won't feel right.
