Plus, I think the "sell out" characterization is Kevin's, not Griffin's, or
even Maron's. She did say repeatedly that she took the gigs she got because
that is all that was available and she was not being offered the good
stuff, but I thought her point was that she went out and hustled and made
things happen for herself. Another difference between the two that I
thought she emphasized was that while she hung out with Maron and his
crew back in the day, he was always (obviously) a real stand up comic,
while she was always something else. For her, "Life on the D List" was not
really selling out, it was making it.

In any case, I do agree with Kevin that it was a particularly interesting
interview.
