As far as Maron having offers to sell out, when Maron gave the keynote at the Montreal comedy festival, he started to break down and cry when he said his agent dumped him because he was no longer bookable. So no, I don't think he had offers to sell out. David Cross had a funny story on some podcast -- I can't remember if it is Maron or some other -- where he vowed he would never sell out when we went to Hollywood. But his parts in the Chipmunks movies means he doesn't have to work for a year or two. And he wanted to be picked up for the next squeakel.
