Remember ESPN's initial response when Stephen A. Smith said women should not say anything to provoke violence was to tease "WATCH FIRST TAKE TO HEAR WHAT STEPHEN A. SMITH HAS TO SAY!" before caving and giving him a one-week suspension after his non-apology apology.
Ironically Simmons suspension is longer than Screamin' A.'s and the initial punishment Goddell gave Ray Rice. And I am no fan of Simmons myself either, but this is a joke and proves further why I'm happy to not watch the crap out of Bristol.
