When DirecTV reinstated TWC last April, I seem to recall that they promised to have less programming like this and devote more of their programming to.......WEATHER.
The Weather Channel has announced that three original primetime series will be returning. The third season of "Prospectors" premiers on Dec. 7 at 9 pm ET. The show follow miners as they conspire on the mountains of Colorado to discover some of the planet's rarest gems for big paydays. "Prospectors" will be followed by the third season debut of "Highway Thru Hell." The the men of Jamie Davis Heavy Rescue fight to keep the roads open on some of the most economically important and most traveled routes in America. Jackknifed semi-trucks and death-defying cliff rescues are just a sample of what Jamie and his team experience. The second season of "Why Planes Crash" premiers on Dec. 15 at 9 pm ET, investigating elements that contributed to some of the world's most shocking aviation incidents. Witnesses, survivors and experts weigh in on case files of the FAA.
