okay.... here's my story.... I never watched that live Sound of Music thing, but I was aware that BriWi's daughter got the role of Peter Pan. So tonight I'm in a hotel with my son and his friend (age 16), and I'm flipping thru the channels. We hit Peter Pan. I pause for a few seconds to see.
teen: what the heck is that? me: a live musical broadcast of Peter pan. teen: very colourful. interesting. me: yeah it seems well shot. [we watch for another minute] teen: but why is Peter a girl? me: casting. [Peter runs/dances away from the camera] teen: that's messed up. Its like Peter is a guy questioning his sexuality, or a lesbian questioning her sexuality. we changed the channel. Settled on football. TL;DR - Didn't buy the girl playing the role of Peter.
