I watched it and I liked it, although it was despite Corden, not because of him. Steve Allen, Johnny Carson and David Letterman spun comedy gold out of interacting with ordinary people. Corden was a deer in the head lights. Thankfully for him Jeff Goldblum was a polished guest and could handle the situation. Beck was game too. The hide and seek was a clunker and the animals were a bit obvious, trying to get people to freak out from the snake. Beck's performance was astonishing, one of the best talk show moments I've seen in the last few years. He played a beautiful song in a stranger's living room. Screw you Kanye. Reggie's sound was terrible. I don't think he was wired into the system. I think his dj stuff fed into a monitor speaker and then they put a microphone on the speaker.
