Thanks for the kind words everyone, the paramedics pulled me out of the car this morning but I'm okay. My doctor took a ton of x-rays and an EKG and told me that I just have some soft tissue damage, bruising and whiplash. A bit banged up, but I'm very lucky I was not injured worse. Mild pain in comparison to the heaviness of my heart. My hero is gone but never forgotten. I am the proud son of Stan and Donna Freberg and I will carry their loving and brilliant legacy forward come hell or high water. I've been fielding calls from everybody from the New York Times to the Los Angeles Times to the Hollywood reporter. I'm still standing and I'm standing tall and proud as the son of my heroes, my mother and father, who made me the man I am. They graced me with an enduring love that will never die. I appreciate everyone's kind out reach. I'm not going anywhere and you can bet I will keep my chin up, my heart open and shine brightly the enduring talent, light, love and grace that my parents forever instilled in me. I'm saddened to the core, battered and shattered, but proud, grateful and strong. An awful day, but I am Donavan Freberg and he never gives up. My mother wouldn't let me get away with anything less.
