The tribute at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood?  If so, I wish I would have 
known you were there!

At that particular tribute, he was in a wheelchair due to having recently 
broken a hip, and seemed a bit “out of it” overall (but his wife Hunter did try 
her darnedest to prompt him for anecdotes).

But there were a bunch of great clips shown, some very rare, and there were a 
bunch of tributes, live and on video, from people ranging from Micky Dolenz to 
Weird Al.

Incidentally, Dr. Demento appeared via video — and I couldn’t help but wonder 
what he possibly had to do that evening that was more important than appearing 
in person at a Stan Freberg tribute.  Without Stan Freberg, he’s just an 
eccentric jazz record collector named Barry Hansen.
