While I can't blame him for wanting to move on after so many years, I did think that voicing animation was possibly one of the most flexible jobs in the world. You can pretty much wander into a recording studio wherever you are and lay down your track. Indeed I thought it was pretty rare for more than one cast member to be in a recording booth at any one time.
