Spanish speaking communities in the US are fragmented as the immigrants
come from different countries/cultures and spread across the socioeconomic
spectrum. And their impact politically is also more local/regional as
states like Florida, Texas, Arizona, and California have significant Latino
communities and grass roots organizations while other regions do not. That
makes it difficult for any one organization to speak as a national
representative. Legacy civil rights organizations will serve Latino
communities and police mainstream media and Trump should be a rallying
point for the community to assert itself.

Still, as the Deadline article notes, Trump's Mexican-bashing polls well in
New Hampshire.
