I believe the argument could be considered one of semantics because the
hairpiece is sort-of walking his remarks back by claiming that second use of
war hero didn't have the quote marks around it. It's total crap, but consider
the source.

We are still dealing with the clown car, not the actual, serious campaign for
the Republican Presidential nomination. But even for this circus, Trump really
is beyond the pale (though I am not completely convinced mainstream Republicans
are not fronting him to give them someone to look more reasonable against in
contrast).
I am interested why you refer to this as being about semantics? Trump said this:
"He’s not a war hero..Five and half years in a Vietnamese prison camp! He’s a
‘war hero’ because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.”
