I don't think this is about semantics, it is about whether he actually said
the first part or not (which if I cared more about this I would check for
myself, but I believe there is actual audio or videotape of him saying it).

Again, I don't care about any of this. I don't care about Trump, and I
don't care about the hypersensitivity to saying anything offensive about
McCain or veterans for that matter (I don't want to start a fight about
that last - I used to work at the VA and am a big supporter of veterans, I
just don't think it helps them to make it into some kind of sacred totem).

But, for people who say they do care (like the FN audience) if they want to
be consistent, they should be mad at Trump.
