Last night I set my DVR to record the first round of the PGA Tournament
today. It is being played in Wisconsin, and TNT had it listed as running
from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, my time (California). This just did not sound
right to me, and sure enough when I checked the PGA website, those were the
eastern time zone times. I waited till after midnight and checked again, in
case this was when they updated their listings, still no change. I went
ahead and set my recording for "Supernatural" (whatever that is), the
program TNT listed as starting at 11:00 am my time, and then padded it two
hours to reach till 2:00, then recorded the 2:00 pm PGA still listed. This
worked fine, and I have been watching the tournament while doing my work
this morning and afternoon. It is now after 2:00 pm PT, and TNT never did
change their listings. If I had not been paying close attention, I would
have been screwed.

I realize that Comcast just gives us the ET TNT feed, but I don't remember
this problem when I am recording NBA games - if the Lakers are scheduled to
play a 7:00 pm game in Los Angeles, even though that is 10:00 pm in NY, on
my listing it says that the game starts at 7:00. Is this a problem on TNT's
end, or something that Comcast is not doing right?
