Since the tickets are not for sale or transfer, I will grant that offering
LS tickets as part of a non-CBS promotion is on the borderline of ethical.
The Bush campaign got some number of tickets to the taping and I do not see
how having paid campaign staff use them as opposed to lucky donors is
preferable. Still, if I were on the Bush campaign fundraising staff and I
was thinking of a raffle reward to small donors, a trip to New York seems a
lot more enticing than a trip to Iowa or New Hampshire.
