Holy living [expletive]. That's all I can say. No other broadcast network charges for their basic streaming service. Most will unlock their libraries and live streams (ad supported, of course) with a CableCo login, including CBSAA stablemate Showtime Anytime. And then there's Hulu.
So I'll ask again...why in [expletive]'s sake would anyone pay $6/mo to only access CBS programming? And why in hell would Moonves think anyone would pay MORE to remove a handful of ads?
