Just caught a Johnny Carson Tonight Show on Antenna where Peter Falk did an unannounced walk-on dressed in full Columbo attire. Have you ever heard a studio audience radiate pure love for an actor and a character? I have now. And Falk expressed gratitude with all the grace and humility indicative of the man he was.
