Apparently as a precursor to a future where the latter becomes the place for (A) recycled long-form programs from the former, and (B) eventually more original stuff.
Whatever happened to just doing rotating 30-minute mini-newscasts? It would seem sooooo fresh in light of the constant attention to specific topics the mothership's well-stocked with of late.
