"People of Earth," the Wyatt Cenac alien abduction sitcom from Greg Daniels
and Conanco, will be back next year, along with "Search Party," the very
strange serialized sitcom about a missing millennial somewhere in Brooklyn
that played out over the course of Thanksgiving week in the "Conan" slot
(although with the season 1 person found...):

Interesting that TBS' move to the offbeat and dark (and Samantha Bee's
success) from mainstream multi-camera sitcoms seems to be working, while
TNT's move in the same direction (and for that matter, USA, despite all of
the "Mr. Robot" hype) is not working. If the viewing public loves their
blue sky procedurals so much and TNT and USA won't give it to them, who
will? (I also note that TNT still has "The Librarians" and USA still has
"Suits," but those shows are not what they're hyping as much as the dark
shows.)
