And Salon is hinting that what Sinclair really wants besides the additional
stations is WGN America, which would allow them to convert the
seemingly-comatose channel that has dropped out of expensive original
scripted programming into a right-wing news network to compete with
Fox--because in this cord-cutting atmosphere right now, converting a
channel which is already established on most systems is more advantageous
than starting a new channel from scratch.  And if they can get Billo and/or
Hannity, along with enough Stepford bimbette graduates from Hillsdale,
Regency or Liberty University to replace the Fox bimbettes and not complain
when Billo comes after them...
