EW's James Hibberd has pointed out that "Last Man Standing," Tim Allen's multi-cam sitcom on ABC's Friday night schedule, has been on the bubble for the five previous seasons it's been on, but got renewed anyway--the streak has ended, and it's believed by many that what got the show its cancellation notice was a crack the notoriously conservative Allen made on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that being a conservative in Hollywood is like living in 1930s Berlin:

They don't need to produce any more to make a ton of money, since new multi-cams that make it to 100 eps are few and far between (with only CBS' "Mom" in position for syndication right now and "Big Bang Theory" and "2 Broke Girls" already in syndication). Maybe all Allen needs now is Vegas, Branson and the road. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
