And, like almost every other one-camera sitcom, will have a difficult time
in OTA syndication.  Sony should hope that "Dr. Ken" got renewed, if they
want to make a killing in syndication.

I seem to recall that Jamie Weinman of McLean's saying that "Modern
Family"'s secret weapon is that unlike almost every other one-camera
sitcom, it has kept the set-up/punchline/laugh track every 15 seconds
rhythm of multi-cam shows without the laugh track.  I've not seen "The
Goldbergs" to know if they're doing the same thing.
