I've said it before, if you allow easy access to media for a nominal fee
(iTunes or Spotify for music, Netflix or Amazon Prime for video), and make
it convenient, people will support the media. It was iTunes --- not
lawsuits -- that killed sites like Napster.

A couple months back, I got annoyed the Facebook page of a British TV
series (Death In Paradise) posted major spoilers months before the latest
series would be released in the US. It was the first time in a long time I
went in search of a Torrent. Pirate Bay seems to be offline more than it is
online, so I tried ExtraTorrent. Even with all the ad-blockers I have, it
was insane how many pop-ups the site tried to get me to click on, so I
won't miss them.
