The colorful broadcaster for the Chicago White Sox since 1982 (with a few years off between 1986 and 1990, one of those as Sox general manager), known for his home run call "You can put it on the boooard--YESSSSS!" and his player nicknames, will be leaving the booth at the end of the 2018 season--next year, he'll be mostly calling Sunday home games on WGN in Chicago and Comcast SportsNet Chicago:
