Interesting. I now have my hot take: CBS News is the Cleveland Browns of the TV news business. In a league devoted to parity, with a hard salary cap, and where a failing team gets a head start on its rebuild with the first draft choice, the Browns have managed to underperform for decades. Analysts, as well as current and former NFL players and coaches, say that it is a long term failure of the management culture and the quality of the front office. CBS News has the third rated newscast, which they have had for decades, and their corporate culture is going to doom them to stay there. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
