News from across the pond:

Fox News is currently carried by parent company Sky's satellite service,
where it sits alongside other news channels including CNN and CNBC.

But it seems that viewership is very low.

"Fox News is focused on the US market and designed for a US audience and,
accordingly, it averages only a few thousand viewers across the day in the
UK. We have concluded that it is not in our commercial interest to continue
providing Fox News in the UK."

I do wonder if Fox News causes a bit of embarrassment to the Murdochs while
they try to complete their takeover of Sky (Fox doesn't own all of Sky).

And then there's the recent issues where Fox News has been found in breach
by the UK regulator Ofcom.

This all makes it pretty clear that Fox News is never likely to be an
international brand. Sky News is that, with a number of localised versions
around the world.
