Yep. European regulation - and British come to that (for a post-Brexit
world) - basically stops those commentators. At least, you can only do them
if you achieve balance. That's how the UK radio station LBC operates,
walking a fine line between left and right wing commentators to keep
regulators happy.

Other Sky-branded news channels are Sky TG24 in Italy, and Sky News Arabia,
the latter co-owned by one of the leading families in Abu Dhabi.
Interestingly, Sky doesn't have a German news channel.

It should be noted that Sky News has always been partly funded to win
political favour and show that Sky is a "proper" broadcaster.
