This week, I’ve read the above article – which touts the Canadian
broadcast premiere of “House of Cards” – and Sundance’s website, which
is promoting their airing of the first two seasons of “Transparent.”
I never considered that streaming services would be offloading their
original series to old-timey syndication.
The awful (IMO) 'White Rabbit Project' on Netflix, helmed by the
Mythbusters B-Team, is approx 45 minutes long. It's paced in such a way
that you could easily add commercial breaks.
I think many of these shows will end up on broadcast TV, eventually.
