I've watched most of the episodes this season. They seem to be covering very social issues (LGBT, racism) etc. Based on my wiki reading of the stage production, that seems in line. I got the sense that a lot of the themes reminded me of All in the Family -- tonight's ep featured a "chinaman" punchline.
