Or, in my mind, who is the audience for this?

It sure isn't me. I've never been a fan of either Cohen or the school of "let's
embarrass someone" humor. I just don't get it. I got through twenty minutes
before hitting the "delete" button.

The point seems to be for Cohen to provoke people far enough that they'll say
or do things as outrageous as what he's doing, but the first three guests (as
far as I got) were all very agreeable and polite, especially the second couple
-- Trump supporters who took Cohen's stories of toilet training his children
and his wife's sexual relationship with a dolphin with sympathy. The "worst" it
got was Bernie Sanders telling one character (an Alex Jones type who uses a
mobility device) that he wasn't making sense and the owner of an art gallery
who reacted quite calmly (and with interest) to another character's (a British
ex-con) artwork that used his own bodily emissions and extrusions (it's
doubtful that he used actual fecal and ejaculatory substances). He provoked her
into donating some pubic hair, but she seemed to have made the first move
happily.

Overall, I didn't get it, but I suppose it'll hold some appeal for those who
want to see Dick Cheney or Princess Dumbass of the Woods say something they
wouldn't under the usual circumstances.

I am not in their number.
