Yeah, he did something similar last year, with an open and close from the
actual ceremony (he hosted). It's their show's version of the Carson
anniversary special. Checking on the wiki, it appeared they did not do
something similar for the first anniversary.
FWIW, September 8th is the anniversary date, but the specials have aired at
Emmys time (within 2 weeks).
