Only Trump could make a reporter as histrionic and self-serving as Acosta seem sympathetic. The idea that Trump is some kind of master media manipulator and PR genius has always been a joke, and this illustrates it. He might know how to stroke the crazies in his base, but he is incapable of making himself look good to those who have not already drunk his Kool Ade.
