I’m sure this was discussed on this list in the past, but since it did not apply to me then I did not take it in.
My wife got me an Apple TV set up for Christmas. But I already have the Amazon Firestick, which allows me to stream content on my TV. OTOH I have an old digital TV that has a really dark picture. I am thinking of returning the Apple TV (cost around $150 -WTF? How can it be worth that when I got the Firestick for like under $20 during a Black Friday sale a couple years ago?) and putting that towards the best TV under $400 I can find.
