If you plan to return the Apple TV and buy a new TV I would recommend the TCL
Roku TVs which are far and away the best value for a TV with great 4K picture
quality and built in Roku which is the best streaming software available. I
have two of them and swear by them. Sick with the TC L branded sets as they are
head and shoulders above the other brands and get the latest Series 6 if it
fits your budget as the picture on it is stunning.

I’m sure this was discussed on this list in the past, but since it did not
apply to me then I did not take it in.

My wife got me an Apple TV set up for Christmas. But I already have the Amazon
Firestick, which allows me to stream content on my TV. OTOH I have an old
digital TV that has a really dark picture. I am thinking of returning the Apple
TV (cost around $150 -WTF? How can it be worth that when I got the Firestick
for like under $20 during a Black Friday sale a couple years ago?) and putting
that towards the best TV under $400 I can find. Am I missing some cool features
on the Apple TV that would make me want to keep it?
