That's true of a lot of these scandals. I was going to start listing
examples but there are too many. The facts are put out there and
allegations are made. The target has money and hires crisis PR people and
they put up a defense until the public's attention is diverted elsewhere.
Then years later someone else mentions the same facts and now the story
gets legs. When Hannibal Burress got the ball rolling on Bill Cosby he
didn't reveal any new information. He just restated what was out there and
this time the media took notice.
