Lawrence O'Donnell did a segment on this last night. Apparently, it's a Trump 
personal vendetta against Hollywood, similar to the effort to block the 
ATT-Time Warner merger. 

As someone who studied industrial organization in grad school, the Oscars 
anti-trust claim makes zero sense.
