You hear this sentiment a lot, but it baffles me. Not the part about SNL being invariably terrible (though that overstates the case in my view. This has been a weak season, and even so there have been 4 or 5 good to very good episodes, and the previous seasons had more than that). But the part about Kenan being the one bright spot. I don’t despise him, and he is about half the time mildly amusing, but if I really thought he was the best thing about the show I would never watch it. Meanwhile I really do like Mckinnon and Bryant.
