Watched the movie. David Milch can write. That his brilliant mind is now deteriorating has literally moved me to tears.
I mean, that was indeed f*cking Shakespeare. I know Game of Thrones has been all the rage for a while now, and fans have been conflicted about its final season. But I suspect, and I could be wrong, that every fan of Deadwood will be satisfied by this finale. The only possible quibble would be that it wasn’t completely historically accurate, but neither was the series itself. It was exactly what it was supposed to be.
