If you are not a Regular viewer of LWT, I strongly suggest finding and watching this one. It would be slightly more enjoyable if you go back first and watch the initial Moore episode, but not really necessary. It is a great example of the multi-layered approach Oliver has perfected in this show: silly comedy, sharp, sophisticated satire, and complex serious investigative journalism. The bonus of this episode is some background on the Moore lawsuits. Oliver has alluded a few times to how difficult the process had been for him, but for a long time was unable to say much in public. Last night, he unloaded. And it was glorious.
