I don't have any way to corroborate any of the stories provided in the article, but a college friend of mine left a secure (albeit stressful) job at Today and moved across the country to be a producer on "Ellen". She lasted several years there, but she confided in me at one point that she felt more stress working for Ellen than she ever did at Today. (The irony was that she also had an offer to work for Tyra, but turned it down because of...you guessed it...Tyra's reputation.)
