So, last year for the first time the final round of the Masters was played on split tees (getting ahead of bad weather). First group went off around 7:30, the leaders in the final group around 9:30. According to the linked article below they were expected to finish around 2:00 (couldn’t find actual finish time). the Masters settles due with sudden death extra holes, so seems unlikely even with a tie they would go past 4:00. So looks like they could just repeat this in November and CBS could still carry their late NFL game with little problem (except finding a replacement for Mr. Nantz, much as Fox has to do when NFL bumps up against World Series.
