The channel just marked its first anniversary and it was a bit of a jolt to see that HBO Max would have the Criterion Collection films. The Nerdist article says that HBO Max will have about 600 movies available to stream and the Criterion Channel has 2100 movies available. If you're looking for HBO content and Criterion movies are an add-on, by all means subscribe to HBO Max, especially at the introductory rate. If you're looking for classic, art house, and foreign movies, the Criterion Channel is cheaper, at $100/year, and has more movies. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
