Correct. But Peacock has been hyping the Hell out of getting exclusive rights to The Office, and the Monologue was all about how much the only thing getting America through the pandemic has been streaming The Office.
Since Ryan is not due out any time soon, and he did not hype any other project, it left the impression that the reason they cast him as the Host was to push The Office on Peacock.
